Old China Pics 2003 (Part 2: Beijing)

Beijing is about 3 hours away from Heng Shui City and every few weeks or so I managed to get out for some adventuring.  Here are some pics from those expeditions.  This is nothing fancy, and the most immediate thing you will notice is the grayness of China:  very few sunny days during my visit. But the place is loaded with interesting stuff, and so I include a lot of detail shots of  Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and some random sights from the streets of China’s capital.  If you are curious about “stuff” and want to read more, visit the China blog from 2003, but keep in mind I didn’t win any prizes for that writing…
